The Thompson gun has similar playstyle to the MP40 and Suomi, the Thompson is slightly easier to use than its counterparts– it features lower vertical recoil and faster reload times, and that’s what makes it a solid beginner’s weapon choice for Firestorm battle royale. Thompson features reduced recoil, quick ADS and extended magazine. If you can’t get the Suomi, Thompson is also a very viable and solid choice for an SMG.
The MP40 SMG is focused on accurate ADS style play as it features quick ADS, recoil reductions and improved ADS while you’re both stationary and moving. Overall, the MP40 is solid for more ranged encounters but overall it is much weaker than the previous submachine guns.
The Sten is a slower rate of fire alternative that is also based around hipfiring as it’s main source of usefulness. Therefore, the Sten has improved hipfire, quick reload and reduced recoil.
