Berserkers are one of the most popular Maplestory 2 Class because Berserkers do a ton of damage whilst also being tanky enough to sustain pretty much most of the damage received if they are supported by a Priest/Knight. Berserkers are great to have in Dungeons and World Boss raids because they do high damage to bosses. This Maplestory 2 Berserker Build Guide will teach you all about Berserker Skills, Builds, Gearing and Attribute Points.

Berserker Attribute Points
The best thing to do on any Berserker build is to put 100 points into Strength and once that’s done go for Health. Berserker has a naturally big HP pool and by building like this you can easily reach 5000 Life.
Increasing the Critical Rate could also be a good idea instead of Health because it will increase the likelihood that an attack will end up as a Critical Hit (which gains bonus damage on top of it– Critical Damage).
Please note that the critical rate can not be increased by over 40%.
Berserker Skills are quite unique and they are focused on always being in Melee range with your enemies. Playing Berserker doesn’t take much skill because they are the usual “hack and slash” Class but some builds can be quite complex and hard.
Berserker Skills are mostly Physical Damage based but there are some that do Dark Damage, everything a Berserker does requires a Sword.
|Dark Aura||Berserker’s hidden dark power restores 10 spirits per second. The Dark Aura accumulates with each stroke, once per second, up to a maximum total of 10 times. Each buildup increases the restored amount by 1 additional spirit point.|
Ten’s lessons on asceticism increase Berserker’s skill with the greatsword. Your weapon attack increases by 1% when you are wielding a greatsword.
Surrender to your own natural fighting instinct. Increases Physical Attack by 15 points and Penetration by 1%
Critical attacks with an greatsword make the enemy bleed, dealing 4% damage every second for 10 seconds.
Adverse conditions strengthen your resolve. Berserker’s physical and magical resistances increase by 100 points when their health is below 30%
Empower your weapon to deal 56% Dark damage to 5 opponents within 3 meters of you.
Continuing to use the skill will result in a 3 combo blow. The attack speed increases with each hit. The third hit is a double hit, and when you’re done, you start again from the beginning. During the attack, press a scroll key to move 0.6 meters.
Costs 0 SP
Turn your sword upside down to cause 69% dark damage to 8 opponents within a 3-meter radius. During the attack, press a directional key to dash 1.6 meters. The distance decreases to 1.2 meters in the second turn and to 0.8 meters in the following turns.
Costs 4 SP
Your sword spell describes an X as you advance 4.5 meters, dealing 75% damage 2 times to 5 opponents in the middle. This ability can cancel other abilities. You will be immune to recoil while this ability is active.
Hit the ground with your greatsword, creating an earthquake for a radius of 9 tiles around you for 5 seconds. Enemies hit by the earthquake are stunned and receive 298% damage every second.
Your Dark Aura goes insane as soon as you find yourself cornered, which increases the restored amount of spirit points by 1 point when your health is 60% or less, 2 points when 45% or less, and 3 points when at 30% or less.
Costs 0 SP
The specialty of Old Ten. Apply a downward strike with your greatsword to deal 218% damage to 8 opponents within a 3-meter radius and knock them back 1.5 meters. If Dark Aura is Triggered, damage increases by 16% per stack. You will be immune to knockback while this ability is active.
Costs 40 SP
You accumulate the power of darkness in your greatsword and strike with immense force to deal 357% damage from darkness to 8 opponents within a 3 meter radius. The area of impact resounds with darkness for 5 seconds, causing 148% darkness damage per second to 8 opponents within range. This ability can only be used when consuming the Dark Aura with maximum accumulation. You will be immune to knockback while this ability is active.
Costs 0 SP
With your sword imbued with darkness, you take a thrust that hits 2 opponents up to 3 meters in front of you, then pulls it back to deal 129% damage 2 times. The lunge always deals critical damage, and by pulling the sword back, you steal a portion of your opponent’s health, restoring 7% of your maximum health. In PvP zones the restored amount is cut in half.
Costs 0 SP
Temporarily amplifies the Dark Aura to increase speed, physical attack and magical attack by 16% for 10 seconds, and restores 1 additional spirit point when hit. This ability can only be used by consuming Dark Aura at maximum stacks.
Darkness gives you strength, increasing your damage by 5%, but consuming your health by 1% per hit for 30 seconds. This effect stops consuming health points when you get to 25% health.
Costs 0 SP
Overpower enemies with a show of strength, dealing 121% damage to 5 opponents within a 3-meter radius. Enemies lose their will to fight, which reduces their physical and magical attack by 9%, movement speed and jump power by 9% for 4 seconds. When it reaches maximum buildup, the Dark Aura is consumed to unleash a more powerful version of this ability. Some powerful enemies are immune.
Costs 0 SP
Take an upward swipe with your greatsword to deal 257% dark damage to 5 opponents up to 3 meters in front of you. Press the skill again to make a 2 hit combo. The second part consists of two quick blows that deal 97% dark damage 2 times to 5 opponents up to 2 meters in front of you. At the first hit, press a directional key to move 4 meters and attack. In the second hit, the ability lasts as long as the key is pressed. You will be immune to knockback while this ability is active.
First hit Costs 24 SP
Berserker Void Slash Build
This is a solid level 60 Berserker Build because it features high AoE (which empowers your clear speed), much needed Piercing and some buffs and debuffs.
DPS Void Slash Build
More Defensive Berserker Void Slash Build Variant
The Void Slash Berserker Build is considered a medium to hard build to play because it requires you to base your DPS on Void Slash. Problem with Void Slash is that if you’re doing Dungeons bosses will often move around which will hinder your ability to consistently hit with the stage 2 of Void Slash. Nevertheless, this build is what I would personally recommend especially to beginners because it has the highest defensive potential whilst also doing a lot of damage.
Berserker Ground Breaker+Death Spin Build
This Berserker Build features complex interactions between certain skills–read more below, which make it a very viable and second strongest Berserker Build at the moment.
The way this build works is basically you use Death Spin to attack enemies and gain stacks, when you obtained enough stacks you want to begin using Ground Breaker which will slam the ground and do HUGE amounts of damage. Warrior’s Instinct is really important to max because you get the much needed pierce. If you ever need health, use Bloodlust to insta heal a rather high percentage of your health. Adrenaline Rush synergizes well with Blood Price because Blood Price boosts your DPS, hurts you which then procs the Adrenaline Rush allowing you to recover SP quickly enough to spam Ground Breaker even more.
Berserker Adrenaline Rush Build
The Berserker Adrenaline Rush build is considered a very hard build to play and optimize properly, therefore making it a more min-max focused build for hardcore MS2 players.
Whilst playing the Berserker Adrenaline Rush build you will use many skills that damage your Health Points and SP over time. Most of the skills in this build require that you pay attention to your health frequently (in order to heal up with potions), so that you are doing the highest amounts of damage and most importantly, staying alive. This is the highest DPS Berserker build for a reason, so play it cautiously.
- If you can keep yourself alive with this Berserker build with less than 30% of life long enough to use an abundant amount of attacks, using this Berserker Build along with the Ground Breaker could be a huge DPS increase.
Berserker Death Spin Build
The Berserker Death Spin build is the absolute best build for beginners because it has huge AoE potential which will let you clear monsters faster and complete quests really quickly. Though it lacks in the boss damage department so remember that.
Full DPS Death Spin Build
Survivability Focused Death Spin Build Variant
As you can see, this Build is not focused on support or defense. Strictly DMG for quickly killing big packs of monsters and completing your quests. This build is also excellent in party play because your Death Spin makes you really mobile whilst also aggroing a lot of monsters which will let your allies clear them much faster.
The gameplay of this build is rather simple, you basically spin in circles forever. Honestly this is a viable build, it may do less DPS than other builds but if you’re lazy and want to grind something you can easily do that with this build (the variant one), especially because it has a % health self heal which is extremely strong.
