The Division 2 Assault Rifle DPS Build Guide

In this Division 2 guide we'll showcase the best Assault Rifle DPS Build Loadout which is viable for any content in the game. The AR build prides itself on the high rate of fire, critical hits and fast reload speed. This build works great when you're leveling because all you need is the Wyvern wear set and a good AR to get it going, which is not that hard to get. The Assault Rifle build starts to get even better once you get the Chatterbox and it's both PvP and PvE viable.

Abilities
Drone/Hive
Skill-wise, you've got two options. You can either pick the Defender Drone or Reviver Hive, this will mainly depend on which one you find more useful for the content you're doing. For example, in case you're playing in a group then pick the Defender Drone as it's going to be more useful than the Reviver Hive. In case you're doing missions alone, take the Reviver Hive as it's one of the best skills in the game for solo players.
Chem Launcher
The Chem Launcher can be seen on 90% of current builds. Why? Because it's ridiculously strong, the Armor regeneration on the Reinforcer variant is just nuts. Multiple charges on a low cooldown, drop them at your feet which will allow you to fire away without dying instantly.
Gear
The general attributes you're gonna be wanting to look on all Gear pieces for on this Assault Rifle Agent Build Loadout are Critical Chance, Weapon Damage, Critical Hit Damage, Assault Rifle Damage and Damage to Elites.
Armor
The main Brand Set you're going to want to complete for this Assault Rifle build to work is the Wyvern Wear. Wyvern Wear will provide a good bonus to Critical Chance and Critical Damage, as well as some Drone Skill Power. Once you've gathered 3 pieces of Wyvern Wear, fill in the rest of the equipment slots with 2 Fenris Group items and one Airaldi.
Talents
Some great Gear Talents to be on the lookout for the Assault Rifle build are: Dialed In, Restorative (for solo play), Berserk (IMPORTANT), Hard Hitting, Obliterate, Critical and Cloaked.
Weapons
Assault Rifle
The Assault Rifle is going to be the primary weapon for this build. A favorite among AR's for this type of loadout is the ACR, it has good base damage and reload speed. The main Talents you should be looking for on an Assault Rifle for this build are the Fast Hands and Allegro. Fast Hands will provide you with high amounts of reload speed and Allegro will boost your weapon's Rate of Fire even more.
Sub-machine Gun
For you second weapon, you'll want to get your hands on The Chatterbox Exotic SMG, this gun will mainly be used to provide even better bonuses for your Assault Rifle. All the talents on the Chatterbox are really strong-- Incessant Chatter and Box Magazine, but the main thing that makes it a great weapon for this build is the "Blabbermouth" Perk. While Holstered, reloading your AR after a kill will grant you 20% increased rate of fire for 10 seconds.
Specialization
Both Survivalist and Sharpshooter are great Specialist options for the Assault Rifle build loadout. In case you decide to go for Survivalist, you'll get AR bonuses and if you choose the Sharpshooter you'll get very useful boosts to reload speed, headshot damage and stability.
