Our Division 2 In-depth Damage, DPS and DPM Calculator was made to make theorycrafting new builds much easier. By filling in fields with the values that can be found on your character’s inventory screen in game, you’ll be able to find out your Average DPS, DPM and even Burst Damage! This little tool can prove useful as you’ll be able to test which weapon outputs the highest damage and therefore which one you should be trying to acquire. In case you’re one of those players that just love seeing numbers, check out the DPS Graph which shows in what situation you’ll want to find yourself so that your DPS output is maximized. On top of that, our interactive tables will provide you with damage numbers for up to six categories: Body Shot, Critical Body Shot, Headshot, Critical Headshot, DPS and DPM in each encounter you might find yourself while you’re playing The Division 2.
How to use The Division 2 Damage, DPS and DPM Calculator?
It’s quite simple actually, as we mentioned earlier, input each of these Division 2 Damage, DPS and DPM Calculator fields with data from your in-game character screen. Though, there are a few things to note before doing so. Weapon damage from the character screen shows already modified weapon base damage (by % increased damage, % increased weapon type damage …) therefore if you’re loading in a Gun Preset (from the dropdown menu) you’ll have to input your Increased Damage % manually and you can also use this to input increases to damage from various things such as Talents. Moving on, if you want to calculate your DPM output (Damage per Minute) you’ll need to input the Reload Speed, Magazine Size and RPM fields. Critical Hit Chance value can be max at 60% and lastly, in case you want to incorporate Headshots into the calculator, use the Headshot Percentage input field (which is basically the rate at which you headshot enemies). For example, input 50% if you land headshots about half of the time. Make sure to set this to 100% only if you know what you’re doing as it’ll increase the average DPS (Damage per Second).
A little tip: we input weapon presets into the calculator so you can easily swap between weapons and test which one works better for your setup. At the moment we support 59 weapons, if this feature gets used a lot, all the gun variants will be added as well (for a total of ~140)
