The strongest Cards currently in the game are: Sniper Assassin, Assault Jeep, Cruiser Tank and Bomber Copter.

 

  • The only method to win and deploy troops in War Heroes is by using Cards.
  • Duplicate Cards obtained will fill up an upgrade meter, once the meter is full, you can upgrade the Card with Coins. The upgrades can get quite expensive so always save Coins for the Cards that are worth it.
  • Currently in War Heroes there is a total of 46 Cards of which 32 are for deploying Army stuff and 14 are Generals.
  • War Heroes Cards can be obtained by buying them from the shop for Coins and getting them in Crates.
  • There are 3 types of cards: Troop, Spell and Building.
  • There are 4 levels of rarity, a Common Card is white, Rare Card is blue, Epic Card is yellow and Heroic Card is red. Common Cards being the lowest rarity and Heroic Cards the highest.
  • Once you reach a Warzone that has Heroic Cards, you can get them like other Cards, but with a much lower drop chance.
  • Every time you upgrade a Card, some of its attributes are improved. The attributes that are upgradable are health (hit points), damage, damage per second (to keep consistency) and spawned troops level.
War Heroes Cards

CARD INFORMATION

AoE: AoE means Area of Effect. This type includes all cards(troops, spells as well as buildings) which deal area damage. It is generally recommended to use at least 2 AoE damage dealing Cards in the deck you are using.
Tank Pusher: Tank Pushers are troop cards that have a lot of health points and can easily deal a lot of damage to the enemy if sent at the right moment.
Tank Support: Tank Supports are any support troops that can go behind your Tank Pusher in order to heal it, defend it..etc.
Spawner: Spawners are building Cards that will spawn troops every X amount of time whenever they are on the battlefield. These are really useful usually to poke the enemy and make him waste troops.
Tank Killers: Tank Killers are Cards that are focused on taking out high health targets quickly before they advance on your defenses. You should always have one Tank Killer in your deck
Generals: Each General is a unique card with a unique ability that is triggered when certain conditions are met. This condition can take place right at the start of the battle, after a few seconds, when you deploy five cards, or even after dealing certain percent of damage on the enemy's bunker. After the trigger is activated, the General's ability (which can be the deployment of some troops or the addition of extra shields on your bunkers) will automatically take place. Upgrading Generals will improve their abilities. These abilities can be an increased level of the troops the General deploys, higher shield hit points, or even more damage for some explosions.

Sergeant

Sergeant is a Common human type Card.
He costs 3 Energy to deploy on the battlefield, you should always use Sergeant to counter enemy squishy targets, or to act as a tank for your damage dealing troops. He has a shotgun so try to position him to face all of the enemies in order to deal AoE damage, he is really useful at taking out a whole squad of Riflemen or Brave Soldiers. His weakness is that he moves slow and is able to shoot only at ground units, so even the 2 Energy Tactical Copters can easily take him down.

Brave Soldiers, Recruit Squad, Grenadier, Biker, Riflemen, Paratroopers, Recruit Platoon, Flame Trooper, Airborne Division.

Riflemen

Riflemen is a Common human type Card.
They cost 3 Energy to deploy on the battlefield, you should always use Riflemen to counter enemy air units, or to act as a follow up along your tank troops. They have a rifle with high damage but a long reload time, so position them wisely.  Their weakness is that they are really squishy and have a long reload time so they are basically useless if sent alone.

BAD AGAINST

You can use them to take out air units pretty easily, or just send them behind a tank because they have rifles which have a long range so they can be quite useful in a big push.
Do not send them alone unless you are countering an enemy Card.

Grenadier

Grenadier is a Common human type Card.
She costs 2 Energy to deploy on the battlefield, you should always use Grenadier to counter enemy squishy targets, but she can also do quite a bit of damage to vehicles. She throws grenades so try to position her to face all of the enemies in order to deal AoE damage, she is really useful at taking out a whole squad of Riflemen or Brave Soldiers. Her weakness is that she is squishy, has reload time and is able to shoot only at ground units, so even the 2 Energy Tactical Copters can easily take her down.

Assault Jeep costs 4 Energy to deploy on the battlefield, you should always send it with a tank because if the Assault Jeep explodes on the enemy defense it does 1000+ damage, but it is squishy. It is really useful when sending big pushes because the Jeep only focuses enemy defense buildings and it will gain a speed boost one second after deployment. Its weakness is that it has low health points.

Rocket Launcher  costs 4 Energy to deploy on the battlefield, you should always use it to kill a big amount of troops because it deals a lot of AoE damage, it can do good damage to vehicles as well. It is really useful when sending big pushes because the Rocket Launcher can clear out enemy defense units easily. Its only weakness is the low health points it has.

His only weakness is that he cannot target air units.

You should always use Bomber Copter to counter enemy tanks which cannot shoot air units because it can pretty much one shot all of them. Its only weakness is that it cannot shoot air units.

The Landmine costs 2 Energy to deploy on the battlefield and it cannot move, you should only use it if the enemy sends a Tank or a big army. Its weakness is that it cannot move and is able to explode only at ground units. Position it wisely, and make sure it focuses the right target. Its best used on narrow passages on Warzones such as Berlin.

Its weakness is that it cannot move and is able to shoot only at ground units. Position it wisely, and make sure it focuses the right target because it has AoE damage.

Its weakness is that it moves slow and is able to shoot only at ground buildings, so any air units can counter it. The Tiger Tank is basically an upgraded version of a Cruiser Tank.

Air Support is a Common Spell Card.
The Air Support spell costs 3 Energy and it has a small delay before the spell actually does damage so you have to carefully time it. The Spell is easy to use and gets the job done, just make sure you have the enemy troops in the AoE before casting the Spell.

Nuke is an Epic Spell Card.
The Nuke spell costs 7 Energy and it has a small delay before the spell actually does damage so you have to carefully time it. The Spell is easy to use and gets the job done, just make sure you have the enemy troops in the bomb AoE before casting the Spell. The Nuke is basically an upraded version of the Bombing Raid Spell.

Helipad

Helipad is a Rare Building Card.
The Helipad Building costs 4 Energy to be deployed on the battlefield. After deployment it will spawn Tactical Copters every X amount of seconds until it gets destroyed or loses all its health. You have to make sure to carefully plan its positioning because the building cannot be moved and the troops that it spawns will travel in a straight line unless pulled by other enemy troops.

GOOD AGAINST
Tiger Tank, Cruiser Tank, APC, Flame Trooper, Assault Jeep, Tactical Copters, Seeker, Sniper Assassin, Bomber Copter, Recruit Platoon.
BAD AGAINST
Riflemen, Brave Soldiers, Rocket Launcher, Assault Chopper.

You can use it to poke the enemy defenses and make the enemy spend Energy on tank units to destroy your building.
You can use it to pull some of the enemy troops to the sides so that you can easily kill them.

Barracks

Barracks is a Rare Building Card.
The Barracks Building costs 5 Energy to be deployed on the battlefield. After deployment it will spawn Riflemen every X amount of seconds until it runs and then the Riflemen will start marching to your enemy. You have to make sure to carefully plan its positioning because the building cannot be moved and the troops that it spawns will travel in a straight line unless pulled by other enemy troops.

You have to make sure to carefully plan its positioning because the building cannot be moved and the troops that it spawns will travel in a straight line unless pulled by other enemy troops.

George Pattoner

War Heroes George Pattoner


The George Pattoner General Card is Rare.
He spawns a Cruiser Tank every 60 seconds, the first Cruiser Tank that he spawns is always on the left side, then the second Tank is on the right side. It cycles this way so always plan your pushes accordingly to get maximum efficiency out of this General. Cruiser Tanks are a great Card and having one spawn every 60 seconds is really awesome. He is my favorite General so far.

Roscoe Rock

The Roscoe Rock General Card is Rare.
He spawns a Seeker for every 33% of damage dealt on the enemy's defense buildings. Note that the Seeker will spawn on the lane where the building took damage. Seekers are a great Card and having a lot of them spawn and blow things up is useful.

Flavium Babel

War Heroes Flavium Babel


The Flavium Babel General Card is Rare.
He spawns an Outpost Tower in between your Trenches and the Small Bunker. The Outpost can do damage and has about the same health as your other defense buildings.  I do not think this General is useless at all, he is my least favorite General so far.

Joseph Shieldson

The Joseph Shieldson General Card is Rare.
He gives ALL your ground vehicles a shield. Always plan your pushes by sending the most vehicles you can to get maximum efficiency out of this General. Cruiser Tanks are a great Card and sending an Assault Jeep along them with the ground vehicle shield is a killer combo.

Toussant Vertune

The Toussant Vertune General Card is Rare.
He spawns Barbed Wires on the battlefield when the round starts. The Barbed Wires do a lot of damage, but they can only do damage to ground units. The only bad side of Toussant is that the Barbed Wire amount that spawns is Warzone dependant, which means on some Warzones he will spawn less of them, but even then he is pretty useless in my opinion because the Barbed Wires can kill around 2 Cruiser Tanks on each side before getting destroyed so that puts you in quite the Energy lead. He is one of my favorite Generals so far.

Manfred von Paratropen

The Manfred von Paratropen General Card is Epic.
He spawns a Paratrooper every time one of your air vehicles is destroyed. This means if a whole Tactical Squad is destroyed, they will spawn a total of 5 Brave Soldiers. This is a really good effect if you are running a Deck that solely focuses on this effect in order to maximize its efficiency. I run this General at the moment on 1000 Medals and it's pretty good so far. Deck that I am using is with Soldier Camp, Tactical Squad, Tactical Copters, Cruiser Tank, Sergeant, Rocket Launcher, Assault Jeep and Air Support.
Rating 8.5/10. Useful only with certain Deck compositions.

Fidel Kaer

War Heroes Fidel Kaer


The Fidel Kaer General Card is Rare.
He spawns 6 Brave Soldiers every time you use 7 Cards during the battle. To get maximum efficiency out of this General you should run a Deck that has a lot of low Energy cost Cards in order to make Fidel spawn troops often. He will spawn Brave Soldiers, they have low health and range but they do quite a bit of damage and can surely make a difference in a fight.
Rating 8/10. He works only for a few Deck setups.

Winston Bunkill

War Heroes Winston Bunkill


The Winston Bunkill General Card is Epic.
He gives all of your main defense buildings a shield when the match starts. He is really useful if your are doing the cheese strategy where you basically camp and poke the enemy until overtime and let the enemy buildings get destroyed by the overtime. A Deck that he would be good for would have something like Artillery, Anti Tank Cannon and Spawners.
Rating 8/10. He works only for a few Deck setups.

Ferdinand Focus

The Ferdinand Focus General Card is Epic.
He spawns 2 Brave Soldiers on each building that you deploy during the battle. I do not see how this can be useful at all. This is even worse than Flavium Babel I believe.

Jeanne Right

War Heroes Jeanne Right


The Jeanne Right General Card is Epic.
She spawns Grenadiers on your main defense buildings instead of the standard Riflemen. Grenadiers have a lot more damage and they also do Area of Effect damage so this can come in handy. Grenadiers are good for taking out both tanky and squishy targets, she isn't too bad.
