If you’ve ever played Clash Royale, Warzones can be easily explained as Arenas. Every time you win a battle you will gain about 20-30 medals and when you lose a battle at lower Warzones you will lose 10-15 medals but later even 20 or more.
At the moment there is a total of 6 Warzones a player can progress through. Unlike in other games, even if you have unlocked ALL the Warzones you can still be matched with an opponent of the same medal amount as you and play on for example Warzone 1 (the starter one). This gives a unique feel to the game because each map is different and the pathing on which troops walk is not the same so basically each map layout has its own strategy on how to win. You can unlock new Warzones by reaching the minimum medal amount required to enter a specific Warzone. Losing too many medals will take you to a lower Warzone, locking the higher Warzone you were in. To find more information about each Warzone, including the specific amount of medals required for each of them, tap on the soldier that is in the middle of the main screen in-game. The amount of medals required per Warzone is at the top, right below each Warzone’s map.
When you progress through Warzones you will be able to get new Cards and more of them in Crates and also every time you win a battle you will be rewarded more coins than if you won at a lower Warzone.
Normandy is the first Warzone you are going to start in. It is really easy to climb out of this one, you basically only need to win 2 battles. Any Deck that you have should be fine to climb out of Normandy, but if you get matched in Normandy later on at higher medals you should have a Deck that has some kind of AoE damage: Seeker, Rocket Launcher, Nuke, Flame Trooper and Bomber Copter work great on this map. You should check the Decks section for certain War Heroes Decks that can work for this Warzone.
Normandy is for sure an interesting map, it has a narrow part in the middle so the Troops that pass it will usually be grouped, and because of that any AoE Troop will work great as a counter. You can also send big Cards for example Cruiser Tank to block the passage of enemy vehicles for a few seconds.
Generals that work great on Warzone 1 are: Roscoe Rock, Flavium Babel, Toussant Vertune and Jeanne Right.
Omaha Beach is the second Warzone. It shouldn’t be too hard to climb out of this one. Any Deck works fine but try to include the Assault Jeep and Cruiser Tank because they can bring down a whole Trench or a Small Bunker on their own. You should check the Decks section for certain War Heroes Decks that can work for this Warzone.
Omaha Beach has a rather simple layout. It has no barricades and a fully wide passage. The best tactic to win in Omaha Beach is to send an Assault Jeep and a Cruiser Tank on one side, and any other troops on the other side. After that keep sending support from the middle, this way the troops that you place will not be targeted by all of the enemy troops and you can easily bring down at least one defense building.
Generals that work great on Warzone 2 are: Toussant Vertune, George Pattoner, Fidel Kaer and Winston Bunkill.
Berlin is the third Warzone. It is unlocked at 300 Medals and this is where things get interesting. Try to include some kind of AoE damage dealer for this map: Seeker, Rocket Launcher, Nuke, Flame Trooper and Bomber Copter work great on this map. This map is also easy to win if you have Air troops such as Copters, Choppers and Tactical Squads. You should check the Decks section for certain War Heroes Decks that can work for this Warzone.
Berlin has a narrow part on the sides so the Troops that pass will usually be grouped, and because of that any AoE Troop will work great as a counter. You can also send big Cards for example Cruiser Tank to block the passage of enemy vehicles for a few seconds. Another interesting thing about this map is that it has an open part in the middle where you can possibly place Artillery to keep the enemy away, set Landmines on the side passages and send Air troops from the middle.
Generals that work great on Warzone 1 are Roscoe Rock, Manfred von Paratropen, George Pattoner, Winston Bunkill and Jeanne Right.
Leningrad is the fourth Warzone. It is unlocked at 700 Medals. Try to include some kind of Spawner building Cards: Barracks, Helipad and Soldier Camp work great here. Landmines and Cruiser Tanks can come in handy for this one as well. You should check the Decks section for certain War Heroes Decks that can work for this Warzone.
Leningrad is an interesting map, it has one passage that is really wide and another which is narrow. The narrow bridge part is great because you can set Landmines there to counter any enemy army that might try to pass. The wide part is which you should focus on, set Spawner buildings, send a Cruiser Tank and laugh while your enemy burns.
Generals that work great on Warzone 4 are Roscoe Rock, Fidel Kaer, Jeanne Right and George Pattoner.
