Cunning Chain Blade Build

Dauntless Chain Blade Cunning Build Behemoth Farmer Endgame Viable Loadout

The Cunning Chain Blade Build consists of the Inferno's Fangs with +3 Overpower Cell and +3 Ragehunter Cell with a +3 Overpower Perk. On the weapon you'll want Cruel Riftstrike special which will be used as a mobility skill and Serrated Blades mod that will increase your chance to critically strike.

Following on with the gear, for the helmet you'll want a Hellplate Casque with +3 Cunning Cell and +3 Ragehunter Perk. The body armor of choice in this case is the Mantle of Thorns with +3 Aetheric Attunement Cell and +3 Predator. Gloves should be Light's Refuge with +3 Cunning Cell and +3 Conduit. The boots are Stride of Thorns with +3 Aetheric Attunement Cell and +3 Predator Perk. Lastly, the lantern of choice for this build is the Koshai's Bloom as it's used as a tool for character re-positioning which increases the overall mobility this Dauntless Chain Blade build has to offer.

Overall, this build has six Perks at maximum level: Aetheric Attunement, Conduit, Cunning, Overpower, Predator and Ragehunter. All of these Perks synergize so well in order to increase your DPS by a lot, Conduit, Cunning, Overpower, Predator and Ragehunter boost your damage output and Aetheric Attunement is great for allowing you to use your Koshai's lantern more frequently in order to be very fast and mobile.

Evasive Fury Chain Blade Build

Dauntless Chain Blade Evasive Fury Build Behemoth Farmer Endgame Viable Loadout

The Evasive Fury Blade Build consists of the Inferno's Fangs with +3 Overpower Cell and +3 Ragehunter Cell with a +3 Overpower Perk just like the previous build. On the weapon you'll want Cruel Riftstrike special which will be used as a mobility skill for repositioning (as you're using Drask's lantern in this one) and Serrated Blades mod that will increase your chance to critically strike.

Following on with the gear, for the helmet you'll want a Light's Crown with +3 Evasive Furry Cell and +3 Conduit Perk. The body armor of choice in this case is the Mantle of Thorns just like before, with +3 Aetheric Attunement Cell and +3 Predator. Gloves should be Grasp of Thorns with +3 Ragehunter Cell and +3 Evasive Fury. The boots are Stride of Thorns with +3 Aetheric Attunement Cell and +3 Predator Perk to boost your damage output. Lastly, the lantern of choice for this build is the Drask's Eye as it's basically the best DPS lantern you could pick. It's really reliable and its instant cast is always going to be a great source of additional damage that you otherwise would not have.

This build features six Perks at maximum level: Aetheric Attunement, Conduit, Evasive Fury, Overpower, Predator and Ragehunter. Evasive Fury works really well in this setup because you'll have so much attack speed boosts that you'll be able to effectively dodge a lot of Behemoth attacks-- which in return will boost your damage output by proccing Serrated Blades more often. Though, a thing to note is that this version is a bit harder to play since you need to know how to dodge enemy attacks.

Early Game Chain Blade Build

Please note that depending on your upgrades, you will not have any excess Perks like the screenshot shows-- tweak your Perks accordingly as this is just a basic layout of what to look for.

The Early Game Dauntless Chain Blade Build is more aimed towards beginners and those who are still learning the game. It consists of the Inferno's Fangs with +2 Sharpened Cell and +1 Ragehunter Cell with a +3 Overpower Perk. Since this is an early game build, your weapon won't have any mods so you're going to run the Reaper's Dance special as it can be useful for crowd control and mobility.

The gear for this build is quite simple, for the helmet you'll want a Hellplate Casque with +3 Predator Cell and +3 Ragehunter Perk. The body armor of choice in this case is the Draskscale Plate with +2 Overpower Cell and +3 Aetheric Attunement. Gloves should be Gnasher Grips with +3 Overpower Cell and +3 Ragehunter. The boots are Gnasher Treads with +2 Ragehunter Cell and +3 Tough Perk for some survivability. The lantern that fits this build pretty nicely is Drask's Eye since it will increase your damage by quite a bit and you don't really need anything else early on in the game.
